Visuals

Here I present my recent video projects, upload photos and give insights about this hobby of mine.

Latest video project:

Before you (hopefully) get lost in pictures and videos from my past travels and projects, I’d like to explain how this hobby grew to something I keep investing more and more time in.

It all began with first long trip on my own to Mexico in 2013, when I tried to capture everything with my GoPro Hero3 and iPhone5. After months away and while editing the final clip (click here) I realized how much fun I have with not only shooting videos but also post-processing them into a final clip. Since then, every longer travel was also seen as a personal film project to me, in which I could work on my skills as a videographer and photographer. My first travels to India (vid. here), Sri Lanka, Vietnam (vid. here), Brazil (vid. here) and Australia (vid. here) where still filmed mainly on iPhone and GoPro. Then, in 2016, on an intense trip to Nigeria, I first took my mother’s Panasonic Lumix Fz-1000 with me, which marked the start of using actual cameras.

For the next years the Lumix was my main travel companions resulting in videos from Europe, Canada, Russia, Australia & New Zealand and Southeast Asia. Over the course of these travels I also got into flying drones and invested in a semi-professional drone set up.

Now, after travel-projects, heaps of biking related content and some minor film- and fotojobs, I returned the Lumix to my mum. For a Sony a6600, some lenses, a capable drone for visually appealing imagery, enjoy!
