This travel with my mum in the summer of 2019 is very valuable and meaningful to me. A series of unfortunate events unfolded in early 2017, when my mother underwent a high-risk brain surgery, in which complications had her falling into a week-long coma, leaving us with complete uncertainty regarding any recovery or reunion. It was in the midst of these challenging times, when I promised her that we'd visit Moscow once she had fought her way back. After an intense road to recovery and the slow acceptance of some everlasting changes, we finally made it to western Russia. We started in Moscow and traveled by train to Tver along the Wolga River all the way to St. Petersburg. This trip is of high significance for the both of us as it marked a new beginning in many ways.
Thank you!
